The "IPS Black" is great too, better than blacks on the iMac - but everything just looks a bit fuzzier/rougher, and AFAIK running those awkward scaled resolutions can suck GPU performance (and I think the Mini GPU is probably a little worse than the dedicated card in the iMac to begin with). iOS 13 brings new capabilities to the apps you use every day, with rich updates to Photos and Maps, and privacy-protecting features like Sign In with Apple, all while delivering faster. I just tried the Dell U3223QE, and it was honestly a wonderful display, and I LOVE the 32" size. And I'd want the height adjustment, which makes the price even more outrageous.Įvery other monitor (below 2K) just can't even come close. but it's basically a lateral move with a huge price tag. I'd really like to pick up a Mac Mini M2 Pro (can get a refurb right now for $1,400 CAD), but then I need a new display. decor elements, fashion accessory - any object or installation. It's on for sure (I toggle on my keyboard lights to confirm), but it won't wake for anything (keyboard, mouse, apple touchpad, apple keyboard, etc) - so I have to power down and boot back up, which is a pain in the arse. It still performs well enough (though I'm sure an M2 Pro would speed some things up), but it has one quirk that drives me up the wall. My 2017 iMac 5K is getting a bit long in the tooth.
